How to Reach Anogia

By Car
From Iraklion the drive is magnificent, with winding mountain roads and great views , passing through some interesting villages.
Head out of Iraklion on the New National road towards Rethymno and Hania.
You will approach the sign for “Gazi” – “Anogia” in which you will detour off the ramp and turn left for Anogia.
From this point to the village is 22km. -
By Bus
FROM THE AIRPORT TO HERAKLIO:
Take the bus, outside of the airport and request the bus station of Hanioporta (One must purchase the ticket at the bus station, before entering the bus). When you reach Hanioporta you will ask for the bus to Anogia.

Saturday 15:00. From Anogia to Heraklio:
Monday to Friday 7:30, 09:00, 16:00.

The cost of the ticket is 2,00€ and the drive takes approximately 1 hour.
